How do i calm down my anxiety about a blood test?

Don't worry your not pathetic, it's normal for everyone to have different fears. Mine is dentists & heights. It's a natural thing our body does to avoid "dangerous" situations. Just take deep breaths in and out. Try of think of other things while they are doing it. Also let the person drawing your blood know of your fear, they can try and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Also, you can tell the secretary of your fear and ask if you step outside if she will come get you when your name is called. If you can get some fresh air and take small sips of cold water that helps.
