Mormonism and Catholicism are the Same? Can My Niece be Both?

the two do have VERY similar theologies....but no. she could not easily be both. eventually the claim to authority (catholics claim authority ped down from the time of Christ --- LDS claim authority had to be restored and was done so w/JS) would create the necessity to make a choice. and the LDS do not accept the creeds and eenical councils.
